DAY 1: WELCOME TO PERU / LIMA
Depending on your arrival time at Lima International Airport, our representative will be waiting for you. They will transfer you to your hotel in Miraflores, assist you with exchanging dollars, provide recommendations, and provide information about your tour for the following days.
In the afternoon, you will have free time to relax or explore nearby attractions.

DAY 2: FLY TO THE PERUVIAN JUNGLE IQUITOS / Muyuna Lodge
Your flight today departs very early to Iquitos. We will pick you up from your hotel in the early morning and transfer you to the airport. From there, you will take a 1-hour, 40-minute flight to Iquitos' Coronel Francisco Secada Airport (106 meters above sea level/348 feet). Upon arrival, a shuttle will be waiting for you and will take you for 40 minutes to a base where you can pack your suitcase. Make sure to bring a change of clothes, as you will need them due to the heat in this city. Then, we will head by road to the port of San Joaquín, from where we will take a river shuttle for a 3-hour upriver trip to Muyuna Lodge. In the afternoon, we'll prepare for our first jungle excursion, where we'll meet the world's smallest monkey, the lion monkey. Enjoy a walk through the botanical garden and discover the medicinal plants found in the area and their uses. At night, we'll board a boat and take a night excursion where we'll see caimans, nocturnal birds, and various mammals.

DAY 3: DISCOVER THE AMAZON RIVER AND PINK DOLPHIN / Muyuna Lodge
The tranquility of the place will allow you to completely disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city and experience this unique, magical experience surrounded by pure nature. After a delicious jungle-flavored breakfast, we'll begin the day's excursion. We'll head to the Amazon River, where we'll swim and see pink and gray dolphins, freshwater mammals. We'll also see the largest aquatic plant in the world, the Victoria Regia, which grows in these areas. We'll also be able to see piranhas. During the day, we'll have lunch at the lodge.
In the afternoon, we'll get ready again and head out to Sapote Lagoon, where the endemic flora and fauna of this place will amaze us. From this point, we'll witness the Amazon sunset. Recharge your batteries with a night out in search of tarantulas and giant frogs. Later, we'll have dinner and then a rest surrounded by nothing but vegetation and the jungle.

DAY 4: VISIT THE VILLAGE OF SAN JUAN DE YANAYACU - FLIGHT TO LIMA / Lima
Enjoy the last awakening of the morning in the Peruvian jungle, then head to the dining room for breakfast. It's time to begin our last day here in the jungle. We'll take the boat upriver to lagoons and river gorges in search of different species of birds and monkeys. Then, we'll visit the village of San Juan de Yanayacu and share experiences with the local population. Here you can take a short break in the various hammocks or swim in the Yanayacu River on kayaks. Afterward, we'll return to the lodge for our last lunch and then get ready for the return trip to the Iquitos airport. The approximate departure time from the lodge is 1:00 p.m. We'll sail down the river until we reach the port, where a designated shuttle will be waiting to take us to the airport for our flight to Lima.
After a 1-hour and 40-minute flight, we'll arrive at the Lima airport. A shuttle will be waiting to take you to your hotel for a relaxing break.

DAY 5: FLIGHT TO CUSCO VISIT TO THE MANOS DE LA COMUNIDAD CAMELID MUSEUM / Sacred Valley
After breakfast at your hotel in Lima, you'll be transferred to Jorge Chávez Airport, where you'll board a flight to Cusco. The flight lasts approximately 80 minutes. Upon arrival at the Cusco airport (3,399 meters above sea level/11,152 feet), a guide will be waiting to transport you to the heart of the Sacred Valley. First, we will visit the Andean camelid and textile museum, an organization of several communities, "Manos de la Comunidad," a place full of charm and traditions. This place welcomes us with its colorful decoration based on alpaca and llama wool fabrics.
We will begin the tour by visiting the most iconic camelids of the Andes: llamas and alpacas. Here, you will have a unique experience interacting with animals such as the Suri, Guanaco, Alpaca, and Llama. You will be able to take many photos, feed them, and interact directly with the camelids. You will also be able to distinguish them since they are very similar. We will have a close-up experience of the elaboration and processing of different fabrics made with camelid wool, such as blankets, purses, sweaters, and decorative ornaments for the home.
After this unique experience, we will continue our journey to the Sacred Valley. Along the way, you will witness beautiful mountain landscapes and tourist viewpoints that make this route even more incredible. Our second stop will be in Urubamba, at a tourist restaurant where we will enjoy delicious dishes prepared with local products. After enjoying a delicious lunch, we will transfer you to your hotel located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas (2,870 masl/9,416 ft), where you will rest comfortably and pleasantly. At night, enjoy dinner at the same hotel on your own.

DAY 6: TRAIN TO AGUAS CALIENTES VISTADOME OBSERVATORY / Aguas Calientes
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. A shuttle will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the Ollantaytambo station. From there, you'll board your Vistadome Observatory train with an onboard show bound for Aguas Calientes. Along the way, you'll admire the lush vegetation of the surrounding landscape, while the mighty Urubamba River flows alongside the train, providing incredible and unique views.
You'll enjoy this 1-hour and 40-minute train ride, accompanied by music and dancers, making your experience unforgettable. Upon arrival, a staff member will be waiting to assist you to your hotel room in Aguas Calientes. You'll have the afternoon free to enjoy the tranquility of Aguas Calientes, have lunch at the various restaurants in the area, or relax at your hotel.

DAY 7: TOUR TO THE WONDER OF THE WORLD MACHU PICCHU / Cusco
Today we will leave early to be the first to enjoy the majesty of Machu Picchu. Don't forget to bring your passport.
We will board the first buses from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu. The journey lasts 35 to 40 minutes. The road zigzags through dense vegetation until we reach the entrance gate to Machu Picchu (2,430 masl/7,972 ft). If you wish, you can use the restrooms, as there are no restrooms inside the sanctuary. Together with our guide, we will begin the tour on the assigned route. The charm and mysticism of Machu Picchu will connect you with the nature and history of this place. You will be amazed by the precision of the stone carvings and the hydraulic system used by the Incas. The guide will make stops to give details of each site we visit, where you can also take photographs.
After a 2.5-hour ride, it will be time to return. You will take the bus down the same route to Aguas Calientes. We will drop you off at the tourist restaurant so you can enjoy lunch. You can also explore the town on foot, as there is no transportation.
Depending on your return train schedule, you should arrive at the Aguas Calientes station 30 minutes in advance, where you will board the tourist train to Ollantaytambo station. Upon arrival at Ollantaytambo station, a designated shuttle will be waiting for you and will return you to your hotel in Cusco (3,399 masl/11,152 ft).

DAY 8: CITY TOUR + CUSCO CATHEDRAL AND QORICANCHA TEMPLE OF THE SUN / Cusco
After enjoying breakfast in the Imperial City, your guide will pick you up at your hotel approximately 11:00 a.m. At 8:00 a.m., we will begin our tour of Cusco. We will visit the famous Cusco Cathedral Basilica, beautiful for its stone and wood constructions and carvings. According to some historians, it took 100 years to build this sacred place and that the stones were brought from Sacsayhuaman. We will begin our internal tour and visit the most representative places in the basilica, such as the pulpit, the painting of the Last Supper, the choir stall, and the Cusco saint, the Lord of Earthquakes.
Then we will continue our tour to the Temple of the Sun, "Coricancha." This temple is dedicated to the sun and the moon. Here we will see how the architecture applied to the stones is so precise, since no openings are visible. then it is time to board our transport that will take us to the archaeological center of Sacsayhuaman (3700 masl / 12140 ft) where we appreciate the megalithic constructions that were made, after a few minutes in transport we will visit Qenqo, Pucapucara and finally Tambomachay which was a sacred place for water worship, then we will return to Cusco and we will drop you off at your hotel or in the main square so you can have lunch; you have the afternoon free to rest or walk to some places within the city!

DAY 9: TOUR TO MARAS AND MORAY SALT MINERS / Cusco
After a delicious breakfast at your hotel in Cusco, your guide will pick you up at 8:00 am. You will head to the Maras Salt Mines (3,200 masl/10,499 ft). This journey takes approximately 1 hour. The road is paved, and near the Maras Salt Mines, it's a dirt road. Don't worry, the transportation will be adequate for your trip.
During the trip, we will observe fields of wheat, potatoes, barley, and other crops. During the rainy season, the landscape is impressive, as everything turns green. The inhabitants of these areas are dedicated to agriculture and animal grazing. There are more than 3,000 salt ponds located in this place. From the top, an incredible landscape can be seen. According to researchers, this product was formerly used to dehydrate food and make it last longer. Currently, this type of dehydration is used in remote communities. The residents who own the wells extract the salt every week. During the dry season, it is extracted every 2 to 3 days. This product is selected in layers and used for human, medicinal, and animal consumption. To generate salt, the wells are fed by springs found in the area's mountains. We will then continue to the archaeological site of Moray (3,500 masl/11,483 ft). This site was an agricultural laboratory where crops were grown in different altitudes. The circular terraces create a unique natural landscape. We will then return to Cusco and drop you off in the city center or at your hotel, whichever you prefer.

DAY 10: FLIGHT FROM CUSCO - LIMA / INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT
Enjoy your last breakfast at your hotel in Cusco. It's time to say goodbye. At a predetermined time depending on your flight, we will transfer you to the Cusco airport, where you will board your flight to Lima. From Lima, you can connect to your international flight.
