DAY 3: SACRED VALLEY TOUR WITH A VISIT TO THE SOUNDS OF THE ANDES | Ollantaytambo
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel; At approximately 7:40 a.m., your guide will pick you up from your hotel and begin a tour of the entire Sacred Valley. We will stop at the Taray viewpoint, where you can appreciate the unique landscape of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, surrounded by mountains and vegetation. After a few more minutes of travel, we will arrive at the archaeological site of Pisac (2,972 meters above sea level/9,751 feet), built on the top of the mountain formed by towers and terraces. This is where ancient settlers had to find ways to produce agriculture and irrigate on the mountaintop. Upon descending, we will stop at Sonidos del Ande, where we will learn about ancient instruments such as pututos, p'uytus, meditation whistles, wind chimes, and healing sounds used by the Incas for special ceremonies such as Inti Raymi (the Festival of the Sun), Mother Earth ceremonies, and solstice ceremonies, among others.
Afterwards, we will head to Urubamba, where we will have a buffet lunch prepared with local products. In the afternoon, we will head to the town of Ollantaytambo, known as the Living Inca City because it preserves its culture and identity to this day. We will also visit the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo. Based on its Inca constructions, this site was a very important military and religious center, with enclosures, platforms, water channels, and gates made of giant stones. You will then be transferred to your hotel to prepare for the next day's adventure.

DAY 4: START OF THE INCA TRAIL - 82 KM - AYAPATA | Camping
