Day 1: Visit Taquile and Uros.

The day begins with pick-up from your hotel in Puno and transfer to the port to embark on a 2-day adventure. First, we will visit the Uros Islands and then head to Amantani where we will stay overnight in a local family's home. Evening activities will take place at this location.

Day 2: Exploring Amantani and return to Puno

After breakfast with the local families and exploring Taquile Island, we will head back to Puno. Once again, we will sail across Lake Titicaca, taking with us all the memories and experiences we've gathered.

Day 1: Amantani Experience: A Day of Cultural Immersion on Lake Titicaca

The day starts early, around 7:30 am, when we're picked up from your hotels and taken to the port, the starting point for a day filled with adventures. By 8:00 am, we are ready to go to the floating islands of Taquile, a place that awakens our senses and excitement. With the sun shining, we make a stop at the floating islands of Uros, an impressive spectacle on our way to Amantani.

Once we arrive in Amantani, we will be welcomed with a warmth that only a local community can offer. After a day of adventure, a home-cooked lunch awaits us, prepared by a local family. After tasting the authentic dishes of the region, we will have a hike to the ancient temples, discovering the history and spirituality intertwined in every corner of the island.

By the afternoon, we will have a dinner at the house where we're staying that night. It's a special moment to share, enjoy local flavors, and immerse ourselves completely in the daily life of the community.

To end this amazing day, we will have a small party, a joyful party filled with local music, dancing, and laughter that invites us to celebrate the diversity and hospitality of the people of Amantani. It's a day full of discoveries, memorable encounters, and the true essence of life on Lake Titicaca.

Day 2: From Amantani to Taquile: A Day of Cultural discovering on Lake Titicaca

After resting well and enjoying a delicious breakfast, we prepared for a day filled with discoveries and adventures. Around 8:00 am, we will say good bye to Amantani, leaving behind the warmth of its homes and the magic of its culture, with the promise to return someday.

Our next destination takes us to Taquile, once we arrive, we embark on a charming walk to the picturesque town. Around 10:30 am, Taquile welcomed us in the main square, a vibrant place full of color and tradition, where the community opened its doors and hearts to us.

Lunch time has arrived! We will enjoy a comforting lunch that awaits us with authentic flavors, offering us a moment to rest and recharge.

By 12:30 pm, it will be time to begin the return to Puno. Around 3:30 pm, we will finally arrive at the port of Puno. It marked the end of a day filled with unique experiences, a blend of flavors, colors, and encounters that enriched us and led us to reflect on the beauty and diversity that inhabit these lands.encounters, and the true essence of life on Lake Titicaca.

Climate

Weather Variation: Weather across regions can differ; ensure to pack for diverse climates, especially for varying altitudes. For example, Ica y warm and dry, so summer clothes can be good. For Cusco or Machu Picchu, we never know so it is important to always pack a warm jacket and rain gear.
Seasons in Cusco: In Cusco there are two specific seasons: Rainy and Dry season. Even though there is always the possibility of having rain or sun unexpectedly. But here you can have some advice: From April to September, we have the dry season and from October until March, we have the dry season.

Communication

Language: Basic knowledge of Spanish might be helpful, but English is commonly spoken in tourist areas.
