Half Day: Your first sight in Peru: Lima, the city of the kings

Half day tour around the city, visiting the most important places in Lima, such as: Huaca Pucllana, San Francisco Church, Larcomar, Malecon Cisneros.

Half Day: Lima, the colonial and pre - inca adventure in a half day tour

In the morning, at the previously agreed time, we will pick you up from your hotel in our tourist transport.
Our journey will start with Huaca Pucllana, The name “Huaca Pucllana” has its origins in the Quechua language, with “huaca” meaning sacred place or shrine, and “Pucllana” being the name of an indigenous deity. This historical site was built by the Lima culture between 200 and 700 AD and served as a major ceremonial and administrative center.

Huaca Pucllana showcases impressive architectural prowess, with its construction primarily utilizing adobe bricks and clay. The complex consists of several structures, including a central pyramid, patios, plazas, and administrative areas.

After having this historical time, now we will continue. Now, we will go inside Limas heart, visiting places like the Cathedral Basilica, Government Palace, Municipal Palace, and delve into the crypts at San Francisco Church, known as the "Catacombs". Built in 1535, the Convent of San Francisco is a must-see for its beautiful Baroque-style architecture and all that it hides. It is believed that, due to the existence of catacombs located in the basements of nearby churches, there is a network of paths and secret passages that connect the extremes of the center of Lima, which cross below the Cathedral of Lima, the Convent of San Francisco and expand to the Convent of Santo Domingo and the Church of Santa Ana.

Then, our adventure shifts to modern Lima, with panoramas of San Isidro and Miraflores. In Miraflores, catch sight of the Love Park by Malecón Cisneros, home to a lovely sculpture celebrating love. To cap it off, we'll head to Larcomar, a cliff-hugging shopping hub with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean.

Our day will end with your camera roll and your heart full of memories.
