Tour Itinerary

08:20 – 08:40 Pick up from your hotel

We begin the tour with pick up from your hotel between 8:20 a.m. and 8:40 a.m., ready to explore a city where history, culture, and modernity come together.

Huaca Pucllana

Our first stop is a panoramic visit to Huaca Pucllana, one of the most representative pre Inca ceremonial and archaeological centers within the city. An ancient pyramid standing proudly in the middle of modern Lima.

Historic Center

We continue to Lima's Historic Center for a walking tour, where we admire the Basilica Cathedral, the Government Palace, the Municipal Palace, and the Archbishop's Palace. We also visit the Church and Convent of San Francisco, famous for its ancient underground crypts known as the Catacombs. Walking through them feels like stepping back in time.

San Isidro and Miraflores

Then we enjoy a panoramic visit through modern Lima, touring the residential areas of San Isidro and Miraflores. In Miraflores, we appreciate the Love Park, located on the Malecón Cisneros with its beautiful mosaic walls and stunning ocean views.

Larcomar

Finally, we visit Larcomar, a shopping center built on a cliff with a breathtaking view of the Pacific Ocean. The perfect spot to end our tour.

Return to your hotel

After finishing the tour, we transfer you back to your hotel.

13:00 End of the tour

The tour concludes at approximately 1:00 p.m., leaving you with a deeper appreciation for the layers of history and modernity that make Lima so unique.

FAQ about traveling to Peru

Explore everything you need to know about your trip to Peru. Let us help you create a truly magical travel experience.

That depends a lot on what you’re hoping to see. If you’re coming for Machu Picchu or the Andes in general, most people prefer the dry season like May through September because the weather’s more stable and there’s less rain. It’s also when everything’s in full swing.

But to be honest, the rainy season isn’t terrible either. Sure, you might get wet, but the mountains are super green and it’s less crowded. Some travelers love that kind of atmosphere.

So yeah, it really comes down to your style. Some like clear skies and others don’t mind a bit of mud if it means having the place more to themselves.

We always recommend it. Some spots like Machu Picchu or the Inca Trail can fill up weeks or even months ahead, especially during high season. If you wait until the last minute, there’s a chance you might miss out or have fewer options.

That said, if you’re already in Peru and decide to travel on short notice, send us a message. We’ll do our best to make it work. Sometimes we can still find availability or suggest good alternatives.

So, short answer: yes, better to book early but if you’re late, talk to us anyway. We’ve helped plenty of last-minute travelers before.

Yes, absolutely. We have solo travelers all the time.

You won’t feel alone though our groups are friendly and small, and our guides make sure everyone feels part of the experience. If you’re more into private options, we can also arrange something just for you. Either way, traveling solo in Peru doesn’t mean traveling alone.

Some of our best clients came here solo and left with new friends.

For the most part, yes it’s safe, especially if you’re going with a local operator who knows the routes, the towns, and how to move around.

Like any destination, it helps to be aware of your surroundings, avoid flashing valuables, and follow the advice of your guide. We keep track of local updates all the time, and we never take you somewhere that doesn’t feel right.

We’ve guided families, solo travelers, couples… and they’ve all felt safe and cared for.
