Adventure in Ica and Paracas with Flight Over Nazca Lines 2 Days and 1 Night

Day 1: Discovering the Peruvian Coast: Trip to Ica, vineyard tours, and the Huacachina oasis.

Today our tour will take us to the marvelous Ballestas Islands. During our journey, we'll make a stop to appreciate the enigmatic figure of the Candelabro, an impressive design etched on the side of a hill in Paracas Bay. We continue sailing, and after approximately 15 minutes, we'll reach the Ballestas Islands, where there is a great marine biodiversity, thanks to the Humboldt Current.

Undoubtedly, the highlight of the Ballestas Islands Tour is the sea lions or sea lions, who capture everyone's attention due to the curiosity of their behavior. They sleep, "pose for the cameras," or simply socialize and live without problems because they occupy the top of the food chain in the area with no natural predators.

We'll also have a little time to enjoy a well-deserved lunch (not included) at the vineyard's restaurants and sample the delicious selection of wines and piscos.

Our last stop will be Huacachina, famous for its oasis, impressive dunes, and delicious Peruvian pisco. In Huacachina, we will venture into the Oasis Dunes and practice exciting adventure sports such as sandboarding and buggy rides, ensuring moments filled with adrenaline and fun.
In the afternoon, we will take a bus from Ica to Nazca. Upon arrival in Nazca, a transport will be waiting to take you to your hotel for some rest and preparation for the next day. Arrival in Nazca is approximately at 10:15 pm.

Day 2: A Journey into Mystery: Flying over the Nazca Lines

The adventure of flying over the coastal sky is underway. In the morning, after breakfast, we will pick you up at approximately 8:00 am and transfer you to the Nazca Aerodrome, where you will board a small aircraft for a memorable aerial excursion over the world-famous Nazca Lines. A guide will assist you until you board the plane.

This flight over the Nazca Lines covers an extension of 500 hectares and has been studied for many years by Dr. María Reiche (According to Dr. María Reiche, who dedicated a significant part of her life to studying these lines, this is the largest Astronomical Calendar in the World). The flight lasts approximately 35 minutes and is the best way to see these fascinating lines and drawings that have intrigued people for years.

Here, you'll see various figures etched on the stone surface of the Nazca desert, representing stylized animals and plants, distributed in an enormous labyrinth of lines, trapezoids, triangles, and spirals that have been preserved for almost 2000 years.

After learning more about these enigmatic lines, we will board the bus to Lima. The trip will end at your hotel in Miraflores at approximately 10:30 pm.
